Capacity: The refrigerating capacity of “K”
series ranges from 2.5KW to 25 KW ( T=10°C).
The “LC” series range from 30KW to 56KW ( T=10°C) |

| All the cooling coils used are manufactured with
5/8” copper tubes with staggered type aluminum plate fins. The
evaporator coils are equipped with specially designed refrigerant
distributors for optimum performance. The copper tubes are mechanically
expanded to have maximum thermal bound with the aluminum fins. |

| The electro motors used are 3ph/380V/50Hz with
a specially designed body for quick and easy installation. The
fans are of aluminum type with four blades, which are dynamically
balanced. |

| Evaporator coils are equipped with thermal elements
for electric defrost. For the electric data refer to technical
table for each model. |

In order to select a suitable evaporator for
a specific application refer to the following example. The cooling
capacity required for a cold room is calculated:
Qe = 24000 kcal/hr.
Required room temperature : -22°C
Refrigerant : R22
Evaparator T
= 8°C
Evaporating temperature (te) = -22-8 = -30°C
The capacity data listed in Table 1 are presented for T=10°C
therefore a correction must be made for other Ts.
From Table 2 find the correction factor with te and T
which is 0.73. Now correct the capacity with this correction
factor as follows: 24000/0.73=32877 kcal/hr
Now fromTable 1 find a suitable model, which satisfies this
corrected capacity. For this capacity one evaporator model LC7(6-6)
or two models of K4L-360 is required. For refrigerant R502 divide
the above corrected capacity by 0.97 and for R134a divide by
0.90. |
